Position Summary:
Campbell County Public Health seeks an Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of clerical duties including greeting the public, answering/routing phone calls, scheduling medical appointments, entering medical data, and running office equipment.
Qualifications
Ability to respond courteously to the public who request and inquire about services. Maintain confidentiality. Experience: 2-3 years in a medical facility office preferred. This employee will be, interacting with the public, answering phone calls, entering medical data, producing medical records, running office equipment, and working closely with the public health nurses. Education/Training: High school diploma or equivalent including general office skills. General knowledge of computer programs and data entry skills. Physical Activities: Essential functions require the ability necessary for minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, crouching/stooping/squatting, twisting upper body, and lifting an average of 10 lbs.
