This position will perform a variety of executive administrative assistant duties in support of the Vice President of the National Security Space (NSS), Connectivity, Transport and Access Mission Segment. The position will also perform special assignments as required supporting activities across the mission segment and program management staff. This position requires discretion, mature judgment, international customer acumen and a professional positive attitude.
Specific job tasks are listed below:
  • Maintains calendars, arranges meetings and interfaces with internal and external customers.
  • Works effectively with internal and external staff assistants to schedule meetings and coordinate communication between Executives in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Manages travel arrangements and expense reports for the CTA VP and other Mission Segment leadership.
  • Multi-tasks effectively in a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment.
  • Demonstrates initiative, discretion and tact in managing email, telephone calls and other requests. Ensures all correspondence is accurate, complete and properly handled.
  • Coordinates program events
  • Composes correspondence and creates and maintains program tracking and organizational tools.
  • Maintains calendars to ensure efficiency and maximum use of multiple leaders time.
  • Quickly resolves priorities for conflicting meetings and schedules.
  • Maintains an efficient work environment to include the Sunnyvale B/158 executive area.

Basic Qualifications:


  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and customers.
  • Possess strong computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point), calendar management and collaborative work tools such as (VTC, Teams, Zoom and web conferencing)
  • Possess the ability to coordinate complex travel arrangements and reconcile expense reports.
  • Possess the ability to handle confidential, sensitive and classified information with discretion.
  • Be able to multi-task and complete assignments accurately and on time.
  • Have US Citizenship and be able to obtain a DOD TS and SCI clearance

Desired Skills:


  • Basic understanding of LM Space and NSS organizations
  • Analytical and statistical analysis skills.
  • LM facility and other organization familiarity to enable upkeep of good work environment in Sunnyvale B/158.
  • Possess familiarity with LM travel and expense reporting systems.

Security Clearance Statement:

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely:

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position:

9×80 every other Friday off

Pay Rate:


The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $59,000 – $113,000 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Pay Rate:


The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $67,800 – $122,900. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
