Water Country – Lifeguard (International) Roles & Responsibilities:

Lifeguarding is the perfect job for someone who takes pride in their work and is passionate about helping others. - Provide active surveillance on assigned attractions
- Safely and efficiently dispatch water slides in alignment with operating procedures
- Administer basic first-aid (within scope of practice) to guests in need
- Engage with guests to optimize safety measures and enhance guest experience
- Work as part of a team including assisting other departments
- Assist in facility cleanliness as instructed
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be at least 15 years old at time of lifeguard training
- Demonstrates ability to swim at least 50-200 yards
- Must complete the Ellis & Associates Lifeguard Training Program (provided at no cost by Water Country) and upkeep license requirements
- Ability to work in various weather and temperature conditions
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Works efficiently in an individual and team setting
- Demonstrates excellent verbal communication skills
- Recognizes and promptly responds to safety concerns
