Provide thorough and consistent daily care and maintenance of both the resident bird and marine life population and their enclosures at Sea Life Park Hawaii. Sea Life Park Hawaii – Wildlife Keeper Roles & Responsibilities:
Essential Duties:
- Daily examinations and feeding of birds and marine life housed at the park.
- Facilitate veterinary examination and care of birds and marine life.
- Daily care and maintenance of the bird and marine life exhibits and rehabilitation areas including cleaning, pruning, raking, laundry etc.
- Daily record keeping, maintain the files for the department including all animal records.
- Observe and report trends of unusual injuries or behaviors to veterinary staff.
- Give daily scheduled lectures to the public pertaining to birds and marine life in Hawaii.
- Maintenance of department supplies and equipment.
- Respond to informational questions from guests.
- Additional duties as needed.
