Description:

The Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control Business Area is seeking a Security Representative in Lexington, KY, to support the Special Operations Forces, Global Logistic Support Services Contract (SOF-GLSS).
The selected individual will serve as a member of the team with primary responsibilities of:
  • Serve as the Lockheed Martin SOF-GLSS Physical Security Lead for Bluegrass Station in Lexington, Kentucky, and offsites located in Fort Walton Beach and Crestview, Florida.
  • Act as the Physical Security Lead responsible for overview of a contract guard force to include developing and administering the training and procedures controlling operations.
  • Responsible for restricted area, ensuring compliance of U.S Government regulations, and contractual safety requirements.
  • Serve as the investigations lead on physical security and security infractions/violations, which includes preparing reports specifying preventative action to be taken.
  • Maintain relationships with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies.
  • Responsible for the smooth operation of a system of access CCTV monitoring station visitor/entry control, security patrols access control and intrusion detection systems and physical security assets, to include CCTV systems, access control systems, etc.
  • Responsible to be the anti-terrorism officer (ATO) for SOF GLSS, must maintain/update the plan annually.
  • Responsible for running the random anti-terrorism measures (RAMS) program.
  • Take the physical security lead in all audits/self-inspection.
The selected individual will be asked to assist in other security related duties, such as inspections to ensure compliance with security requirements, personnel security and act as the alternate incident/crises management manager.

Basic Qualifications:


Excellent communication skills, vast knowledge in camera, (CCTV) and access control, minimal supervision and guidance, ability to deal with a diverse customer base, have strong verbal and written communications skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required, be detail orientated, flexible, and able to multi-task in a fast paced environment. Must be a team player with a positive attitude, have initiative, tact, and the ability to exercise sound judgment.

Desired Skills:


Prior military or law enforcement experience.

Security Clearance Statement:

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
