Role Snapshot

Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial information for the various government contracts including the balancing and reconciliation of various accounts and transactional data.

In this role you will:

  • Complete daily reconciliations and tasks for all MVH contracts accurately and on a timely basis in accordance with government regulations
  • Process daily refund deposit files.
  • Balance and reconcile paid, stale-dated, and voided checks.
  • Review manual check requests.
  • Prepare monthly interest, 1099, and administrative receipts reconciliations.
  • Apply installment payments and perform reconciliations to determine remaining balances.
  • Provide direction to and answer questions of all other MVH Accounting personnel pertaining to daily operations.
  • Assist with completing tax levies, check forgery affidavits, and unclaimed property requests.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills
  • 2 years or more experience in Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable functions
  • Strong communication skills
  • S. citizenship is required for this position due to Department of Defense restrictions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree in accounting or related field OR equivalent post high school education and/or work-related experience
  • Basic Accounting knowledge
  • Experience with suggesting and implementing process improvements

Additional Information

  • Start Date: Monday, April 22nd, 2024
  • Star ting Base Salary : $19/hour
  • Scheduled Shift: Flexible schedule once trained, 8-hours shifts between 7am and 7pm
  • Work Location : 100% Remote, including training.
