Role Snapshot

As our Proposal Manager , you will support our WPS Federal Business Development (BD) strategy through development of competitive proposals and the pursuit of federal healthcare contracts. The Proposal Manager ensures a proposal is compliant with all RFP requirements and oversees proposal production and delivery activities. As an individual contributor, you will be a critical, foundational member on the BD team and will tackle projects and proposals of varying size.

Your primary focus will be:

  • Leading proposal development efforts that include volume leads, technical writers, graphic artists, and production support.
  • Collaborating with our capture team to understand the win strategy and to ensure RFP responses clearly convey proper business perspectives, key messages, value propositions, and differentiators against our competition.
  • Supporting proposal development efforts through persuasive writing for federal, state, and/or commercial customers.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders throughout the BD lifecycle from business development to capture to proposal activities.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2 or more years of related work experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent post high school and/or related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of experience in a proposal development for a federal government contractor.
  • Experience leading proposal volumes researching, writing, and editing compliant proposal content and participation in color reviews.
  • Experience with the proposal processes and tools i.e. Shipley, MS Office Suite,
  • Professional writing experience.
  • Certifications such as: Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP)

Salary Range

$105,000 ~ $125,000
The base pay offered for this position may vary within the posted range based on your job-related knowledge, skills, experience and may fall outside of this range.
