Job Title: Lease Operator
Location: Casper, Wyoming

Job Responsibilities:
• Responsible for monitoring and optimization of all production and injection wells. This includes all process variables, ensuring that all production equipment is operating at peak reliability and efficiency, and acquiring and storing data.
• Actively supports Health, Environment, and Safety processes by accomplishing daily activities within applicable regulations and policies, carrying out duties in an environmentally conscious manner, following safe operating practices.
• Operates, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains oil and gas production equipment.
• Perform duties (as detailed below) associated with oil and gas producing operations including but not limited to plunger lift wells, process equipment, compression, dehydration, etc.:
• Optimizing artificial lift systems.
• Testing wells.
• Acquires fluid level information.
• Records keeping and data input
• Monitors computer control systems.
• Tests safety devices.
• Operates and monitors of SCADA.
• Partners with other employees, and contractors to ensure that all equipment is operating at peak efficiency
• Utilizes Computerized Maintenance Management System to create work orders for inventory and work planning/prioritization
• Assures all work performed adheres to Chevrons Operational Excellence standards and regulatory requirements.
• Drives on a routine basis
• Other duties as assigned

Required Education / Skills:
• At least three years operations experience in oil and gas or related petrochemical industries
• Ability and willingness to work weekends, holidays, and overtime based on work activity.
• The position will require a pick-up truck to perform duties. The provider will need to provide a truck for the individual.
• Position will be required to take callouts on a rotating schedule.

Preferred Qualifications:
• 5+ years operations experience in oil and gas or related petrochemical industries, including experience with regulations and the maintenance and testing requirements associated with related safety devices.
• In depth understanding of upstream facilities including, but not limited to: separation, pumping, gathering, tankage, lact sales, metering, and compression.
• Broad knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot and maintain major oil and gas production facility process systems including: mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and production equipment.
• Capable of simultaneously performing multiple tasks with limited supervision.
• Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with a diverse team of coworkers, contractors, and internal and external customers.
