Hours: Full time
Winter Hours (November to April): Monday – Friday 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Hours subject to change in an emergency.
Summer Hours (April to November): Monday- Thursday 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Hours subject to change in an emergency.

Hours may be adjusted based on weather and/or emergency conditions (weekends and holidays included).

THIS POSITION IS SUBJECT TO MANDATORY DRUG TESTING POLICIES AS A CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT.


Nature of Work/Examples of Work Performed

This is routine labor work involving construction projects or maintenance of a variety of County facilities.

Operates various types of maintenance and automotive equipment properly and safely.

Performs general road maintenance duties.

Minimum Qualifications/Necessary Special Requirements

Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent and at least one year experience with heavy construction work, or equivalent.

Necessary Special Requirement: Possession of a valid drivers license. Possess and maintain a valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) and any applicable endorsements.
