Information Security Analyst

Our Client, a leading local insurance provider, is currently seeking an Information Security Analyst to bolster their organizations defenses against cyber threats. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in analyzing, mitigating, and proactively addressing security risks to safeguard sensitive data, networks, and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents and breaches for threat detection and analysis.
• Administering and maintaining security tools, ensuring the latest updates and managing user access.
• Conducting risk assessments and vulnerability testing, and providing recommendations for risk mitigation.
• Assisting in the creation and enforcement of security policies, educating employees, and ensuring compliance.
• Contributing to the development of incident response plans and assisting during security breaches.
• Organizing and conducting security awareness training sessions to keep stakeholders informed about current threats.
• Preparing for and participating in security audits, penetration testing exercises, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Working closely with the IT team to effectively communicate any security-related issues that arise.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to the organizations information security framework.

Qualifications &amp Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CC, CEH, or equivalent are advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of security technologies and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Meticulous attention to detail and dedication to data protection.
