The eCASS Fourth-Generation Electro-Optic (EO4) Program Manager will have the responsibility for execution of a US Navy development program, including design, development, fabrication, assembly, integration, test, and delivery of the EO4 subsystem. This position will require a skill mix of program execution and capture/proposal management, with specific focus on Navy development and production.

The Program Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the program execution (cost, schedule, technical) as well as ROS (sales, orders EBIT) commitments to the Corporation. The selected candidate will lead and integrate professionals from engineering, supply chain, and operations to ensure performance to the contract baseline. The candidate must be able to integrate disparate data during execution, be able to drive appropriate processes, identify and manage issues/risks/opportunities, and develop correction action path forward when necessary.

The ability to create, maintain, and leverage Customer and Supplier relationships will be a priority is this position. A large portion of the contract is being executed through a subcontractor, thus being able to manage the supplier’s cost, schedule and technical performance is key. Concurrently, responsibilities may include capture and preparation of the production phase of the program.

  • Customer interface experience
  • Ability to lead and motivate a program team
  • Familiarity with typical program performance management metrics
  • Experience troubleshooting and leading through program performance issues
  • Risk and opportunity management
  • Ability to effectively manage a diverse cross functional team which includes both LM employees as well as subcontractors.
  • Demonstrated excellent team building and interpersonal skills, capable of relationship building with customers and employees at all levels and across multiple geographic locations
  • Demonstrated proposal management experience
  • Demonstrated business acumen

Ability to Work Remotely:

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position:

4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week
