Work Arrangement:

This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Detroit, Austin or Mountain View three times per week, at minimum.

The Role:

The DEI Talent Acquisition Program Manager leads the development and implementation of key diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to drive awareness, engagement, and attraction of top, diverse talent. The role serves as a consultative and strategic partner who collaborates closely with DEI and GTA to design, implement and assess comprehensive attraction strategies. This position will also serve as an advisor shaping GTA initiatives, training, and learning opportunities to develop an equitable and inclusive candidate experience and strengthen our positioning as a global employer of choice.

Responsibilities:

  • Acts as the talent acquisition DEI subject matter expert and advisor, partnering closely with various leaders and teams to infuse a DEI lens into attraction and hiring strategies and processes.
  • Bridges GTA and DEI in serving as the key point of contact for GTA for DEI talent attraction program frameworks, objectives and results, incorporating learnings and change management throughout.
  • Offers guidance and expertise to the recruiting delivery and enablement teams, ensuring best practices for diverse hiring practices are woven throughout talent acquisition processes.
  • Serves as an advisor in sharing emerging opportunities, trends, and best practices to reach key talent audiences through various attraction strategies, e.g. events, digital marketing, social, referrals, etc., to support creating more diverse pool of prospects and candidates across all talent personas.
  • Evaluates and refines source attribution tracking methods, identifying challenges and establishing processes, to analyze and report on actionable insights and assess performance of DEI talent attraction results.
  • Leverages data to understand strategy performance of attracting and acquiring diverse talent and makes recommendations to support individual persona outreach tactics from campus to executive audiences.
  • Partners with People Analytics and DEI teams to develop measurement strategy and dashboards to share results across GTA and DEI.
  • Supports TA processes and practices to deliver equitable outcomes by working with talent enablement and DEI to recommend enhancements for implementations.
  • Advises and co-develops training, change management, and communication materials for GTA stakeholders (recruiter, hiring manager, DEI, ERG member, etc.) about overarching DEI talent strategies and frameworks to enhance understanding and acumen of DEI talent objectives.
  • Communicates strategies, recommendations, and progress of talent attraction DEI objectives to key stakeholders in collaboration with DEI Talent Equity, ensuring project plans are co-developed and understood to reach aligned goals and objectives.
  • Strengthens amplification of employer brand and EVP in working closely with the talent brand engagement team to influence outreach and marketing campaigns.
  • Works in close partnership with talent marketing, corporate and business function communications, DEI, and ERG leaders to reach and acquire diverse talent through multi-point marketing strategies.
  • Serves as a consultant/liaison to DEI and talent marketing event stakeholders on evaluation and participation of events and conferences.
  • Utilizes and leverages CRM to re-engage and nurture diverse talent through marketing communications and events, while advising on sourcing and outreach methods.
  • Partners with DEI communications and talent brand engagement teams on thought leadership concepts.
  • Maintain funding requests and budget/resource allocations to understand and report on return from DEI talent attraction program investments.
  • Works closely with talent enablement and DEI teams on requests related to reports, survey, and other needs.

Additional Job Description

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in recruitment, with 2+ years of diversity, equity and inclusion program experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Highly effective skills in program or project management.
  • Demonstrated experience in understanding and utilizing recruitment best practices and standards to develop process improvements and assess change outcomes.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional team model to deliver aligned objectives and goals.
  • Strong data analysis skills to share results of related strategies while also identifying opportunities and actions to improve future outcomes.
  • Familiarity in leveraging talent acquisition tools and systems, such as ATS, CRM and job board platforms to drive attraction strategies.
  • Strong social and communications skills (verbal and written) with excellent organizational skills, time management and priority setting.

Compensation:

  • The expected base compensation for this role is $83,800 – $133,900 USD Annually.
  • Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
  • Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
