The immediate vacancy is with the Department of Land &amp Natural Resources in Downtown .

Salary: $3,449 to $4,364 per month (SR-12, Step C to I)

Duties Summary

Receive over-the-counter payments and make cash disbursements assess interest, fees and penalties as necessary tally cash and make daily cash reports and perform other related duties as assigned.

In performing cash transactions and disbursements, must apply pertinent laws, court orders, and other regulations in determining the proper amount of cash collection and/or disbursements.

Minimum Qualification Requirements

To qualify, you must meet all of the following requirements:

General Experience: Two (2) years of work experience involving the posting of a variety of information onto records and/or forms , and reviewing, checking, sorting and filing records, forms, reports, etc. Such experience must have demonstrated knowledge of arithmetic and required the ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions, communicate orally and in writing, and make arithmetic computations.

Specialized Experience: One (1) year of either A and/or B :


A.
Cashiering experience ( Note: Retail cashiering experience which required the use of an electronic scanner to read bar codes is not creditable .)

B. Work experience which involved the review and posting of fiscal data to records of fiscal transactions (e.g., revenue ledgers, expenditure ledgers, etc.).

Public Contact Experience: At least six (6) months of the total experience required must have included experience involving contact with the public. ( No substitution will be permitted for this type of experience. )
