ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK
Position Summary
Responsible for assisting in processing accounts payable in an efficient manner and making payments on a timely and accurate basis.
Supervision Exercised
Supervised by the Accounts Payable Manager.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
1.Accurately matches Purchasing, Shipping & Receiving, and Accounts Payable documents in order to enter invoice information.
- Actively researches invoice problems such as pricing, wrong quantities, and no purchase orders.
- Assists in maintaining complete vendor information and contract files.
- Assists in maintaining W-9 and 1099 reporting.
- Assists in reconciling open invoice reports to general ledger balance.
- Ensures all vendor discounts are taken.
- Performs additional duties as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience
Required:
- High School Diploma, GED certification or equivalent.
- One (1) year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
Preferred:
- An Associate’s degree in Accounting
Licensing Status
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Gaming License.
- Will require a post-offer, pre-employment and random drug screening.
Working Conditions
- Work is performed indoors.
- Work hours subject to change with overtime work required.
- Must be able to work long hours under stressful conditions.
- Subject to hazards that may cause personal bodily harm: smoke, common colds, influenza, dust, odors and elevated noise levels.
- Tasks may be performed on uneven, inclined, hard and soft carpeted floors, cement structures and surfaces.
- Duties may involve walking, standing for long periods of time, sitting and crouching.
- Specific required movements include the following:
- Trunk-bend, twist, rotate, push, pull, and carry
- Arms-reach, carry, push, pull, lift, twist, and rotate
- Legs-lift, push, pull, twist, and rotate
- Hands-grasp, manipulate, bilateral coordination, eye and hand coordination, overall and finger dexterity.
