Job Description: Workplace Experience Coordinator

Location: San Francisco full-time, on-site required

Position Overview

The Workplace Experience Coordinator plays a pivotal role in fostering a workplace environment that is welcoming and conducive to innovation and collaboration. This role is vital to ensuring that our physical office and its programming run smoothly and align with our commitment to making the San Francisco office an energetic and appealing destination for both employees and customers. As an on-site representative of our brand, this Visa Ambassador will be expected to carry out job responsibilities with a hospitality mindset and positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Community Facilitator: Welcome visitors at the lobby and direct or escort to fifth floor reception for a warm introduction to the appropriate contact. Provide hospitality services to waiting visitors such as providing information about office amenities, and food and snack options to make the visit more comfortable.

  • Site Tours: Conduct site tours with an overview of the vision for the office and the key features that support the workplace experience. Possess in-depth knowledge of the neighborhood with the ability to make recommendations on services in the local area.

  • Office Support: Collaborate with the facilities team to communicate and implement scalable operational procedures for the efficient delivery of workplace services.

  • Meeting Room/ Collaboration Areas Maintenance: Conduct regular checks of meeting rooms, collaboration areas, and work areas monitoring for cleanliness and general readiness, and coordinating with the facilities team as needed.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced
Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

Preferred Qualifications
  • 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years
of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
  • Ideal candidate will have 5+ years in hospitality, retail, customer service, or food
service management for a large corporation (10,000+ employees).
  • Requires a High School Diploma, college degree preferred.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office Suite

Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 98,000.00 to 138,500.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
