GENERAL SUMMARY:

As a Warehouse Associate – Picker/Packer, youll be responsible for accurately picking and packing customer orders. Your role is crucial in ensuring the efficient and timely fulfillment of orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, and upholding quality standards. Your role may involve using manual or electric pallet jacks and adhering to industry-standard practices and procedures.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Achieve established productivity and sales targets.
• Use RF scanners to locate and verify product information and quantities.
• Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Label and prepare orders for shipping.
• Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and reach trucks.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow.
• Uphold warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Assist with container offloading and truck loading.
• Perform general labor duties as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Willingness to cross-train for various tasks.
• Ability to interpret safety rules, operational instructions, and manuals.
• Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing orders.
• Excellent teamwork and communication
• Proficiency in driving power equipment forklift certification preferred.
• Prior experience operating material handling equipment is a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This position demands physical agility, including prolonged periods of walking, standing, bending, lifting items up to 50 lbs. regularly, and engaging in activities like kneeling and sitting as required. You should be comfortable using your hands and arms extensively, along with frequent stooping, kneeling, or crouching during tasks. Additionally, the ability to lift and move varying weights, ranging from ten to over seventy-five pounds, is essential to fulfill job responsibilities.

Flexible Work Schedule

For decades we have fostered a unique culture founded on our values with a particular focus on in-person teamwork and collaboration. Our North American hybrid model encourages rich in-person experiences, showcasing our commitment to teamwork and connection, while maintaining flexibility for associates. New Balance Associates currently work in office three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Our offices are fully open, and amenities are available across our North American office locations. To continue our focus on hybrid work we have introduced “Work from Anywhere” (WFA) for four weeks per calendar year. This model will help us enhance our culture while continuing to maintain elements of flexibility.
