POSITION REQUIREMENTS: A high school diploma or the equivalent, and a valid motor vehicle operators license are required. Working knowledge of personal computers, familiarity of units of electric measurement, electrical, mechanical and numerical aptitude required ability to communicate effectively and to follow and interpret instructions required.

Individual must pass the CAST test. Storm duty assignments as required.

The salary range for this position starts at Step 1 $29.88 and progresses in accordance with the union contract. Check out the career site for an overview of our benefits.

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Individual tests electric meters at the Electric Meter Lab. Performs acceptance tests on new meters, accuracy tests on used meters – including tests requested by PURA and by the customer time-load tests and programming and resetting of meters. Processes and cleans used meters. Ability to operate a forklift. Performs storage and inventory tasks.
