The Caminantes dual language program is seeking qualified teachers to provide engaging language and literacy instruction in both Spanish for K-4th grade Caminantes students with a focus on vocabulary, oral language development and literacy skills. The program is designed to extend and expand the learning opportunities for our students learning in two languages, and will include a variety of activities in Spanish including songs, movement, games and arts. Candidates should have experience in the planning and instruction of language and literacy skills. Teacher qualifications: Relevant MA DESE Teacher license (early childhood, elementary education, ESL, or special education SEI and/or Bilingual Endorsement)Experience providing literacy instruction to multilingual learners Bilingual/ bicultural preferredSalary: $50.00 per hour for 4.5 hours daily (8:00-12:30), which includes 30 minutes of prep time daily.Program Dates: Program July 1-3, 8-11, 15-18, 22-26.
