The Storeroom Clerk is responsible for providing service to order, ship, store, and track required spare and repair parts for production equipment and associated machinery. Duties Include:

  • Perform clerical duties associated with parts and material ordering, receiving, and shipping in a storeroom setting.
  • Receive, inspect, and handle parts and materials for storage.
  • Maintain order and accountability of the parts and materials in the storeroom.
  • Check received parts and materials against the shipping documentation.
  • Perform physical checks of storeroom materials for breakage or damage.
  • Prepare inventory control and conduct periodic inventory checks of storeroom materials.
  • Handle and record movements of incoming and outgoing storeroom materials.
  • Ensure storeroom premises are maintained in a neat and orderly fashion.
  • Ensure adherence to established parts and materials receipt and charge-out processes.
  • Comply with and participate in corporate-wide safety programs, including but not limited to PPE and lock-out requirements.


Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to lift at least 40 pounds.
  • Ability to work from elevated positions using required safety gear and procedures.
  • Ability to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and/or pulling for extended periods.
  • Able to work in a variety of environmental conditions.
  • Three years of storeroom-based experience.
  • CMMS experience is preferred.
  • Forklift experience is preferred.
