The Storeroom Clerk is responsible for providing service to order, ship, store, and track required spare and repair parts for production equipment and associated machinery. Duties Include:
- Perform clerical duties associated with parts and material ordering, receiving, and shipping in a storeroom setting.
- Receive, inspect, and handle parts and materials for storage.
- Maintain order and accountability of the parts and materials in the storeroom.
- Check received parts and materials against the shipping documentation.
- Perform physical checks of storeroom materials for breakage or damage.
- Prepare inventory control and conduct periodic inventory checks of storeroom materials.
- Handle and record movements of incoming and outgoing storeroom materials.
- Ensure storeroom premises are maintained in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Ensure adherence to established parts and materials receipt and charge-out processes.
- Comply with and participate in corporate-wide safety programs, including but not limited to PPE and lock-out requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Ability to lift at least 40 pounds.
- Ability to work from elevated positions using required safety gear and procedures.
- Ability to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and/or pulling for extended periods.
- Able to work in a variety of environmental conditions.
- Three years of storeroom-based experience.
- CMMS experience is preferred.
- Forklift experience is preferred.
