Overview
FEI is a dynamic organization that has lines of business in Distribution, Manufacturing, and Service, which all primarily serve the agriculture and energy industries.
The shipping clerk position picks, verifies, packs, and ships outgoing orders.
Reports to:
Operations Manager
Essential Functions:

- Operate lift trucks or hand trucks to convey, move or hoist materials to proper departments or areas.
- Operate nylon and metal strapping banders.
- Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
- Perform all computer functions necessary to track various aspects of goods.
- Responsible for making arrangements, for pick up by carrier specified on the customer?s sales order.
- Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
- Required to pass forklift training course provided by employer.
- Assist in cycle counting and discrepancies.
- Review, sort, pick, redpen, pack, and ship pick tickets.
- Help walk-in traffic as needed.
- Use handheld scanning device to perform warehouse functions involving inventory movement.
