Shipping Assistant

The Shipping Assistant based in a production facility and is responsible for inputting customer (dealer/builder) orders into our production systems. The Shipping Assistant also works closely and prepares order details for scheduling, production and shipment teams.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Daily communication with our dealer base to:
- Confirm orders 2 weeks prior to production.
- Confirm orders 1 week prior to shipment.
- Confirm orders 2 days prior to shipment.
- Accurate entry into ERP (Thor) to update dealer requested dates for use by production and shipping teams.
- Daily communicate with Shipping Manager, Plant Manager and Production Manager to help facilitate schedules and ordering of permits.
- Invoice pools daily.
- Receive incoming calls for ad hoc changes to dealer schedules and shipping configuration changes
- Track delays to confirmed shipments.
- Outstanding service levels, including coordinating across multiple production plants or departments to meet dealers needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
