ASRC Federal is seeking a Security Assistant.
This role is a hybrid position requiring one to two days per week in our corporate office in Beltsville, MD.
Key role: Perform all tasks required to successfully generate case files in support of the investigation of an applicants suitability for employment with their corporate security office.

Key role: Perform all tasks required to successfully generate case files in support of the investigation of an applicants suitability for employment with their corporate security office.
Responsibilities:
- Perform duties such as taking photographs, producing finished badges, issuing card key access and office keys, fingerprinting, and tracking of badges, keys and other security related items.
- Process the acquisition of security clearances and coordinates the return of security badges.
- Provide entries into existing computer databases for access and information verification of biographical and security data.
- Maintain database records and hardcopy files including those used to track safety and security data.
- Assist with property inventories.
- Answer phones, respond to emails, and take actions accordingly.
- Process visitor requests for access to customer/government facilities.
- Effectively manage multiple projects.
- Prepare and maintain classified documents in either hard copy or electronic formats.
- Assist with invoice processing and recordkeeping.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Must be high school graduate.
- 1+ years of Microsoft Office Applications experience.
- Experience with administrative paper work including records maintenance.
- 1+ years of experience managing multiple projects and staying organized.
- US Citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret security clearance (Active Secret clearance preferred)
- Knowledge of relevant security clearance procedures and protocols.
