The State of New Hampshire, Department of Corrections, Division of Administration has a part-time vacancy for a Secretary II.


Summary:

To perform a variety of secretarial tasks for the NH Department of Corrections Central Warehouse.

18 Months of additional relevant experience = Associates degree

36 Months of additional relevant experience = Bachelors degree

54 Months of additional relevant experience = Masters degree

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or high school equivalency credential. Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience.

Experience: Two years experience in a secretarial position, one year of which shall have been at the level of Secretary I or its equivalent.

License/Certification: None required.

Responsibilities:

Maintains and updates central warehouse inventories for the first floor, second floor and the hazardous-material room, as needed.

Provides general office support including filing, answering telephones and scheduling appointments and deliveries.

Greets and assist any walk-in visitors, vendors or customers as well as assisting customers with purchases from Correctional Industries.

Scans and files required documents, as needed.

Ensures proper filing and distribution of central warehouse documents related to inventory, PO’s or deliveries.

Communicate with all customers, internal and external, to the Central Warehouse to ensure proper shipments routing.
