Job Description Summary: As Scrum Master, you play a key role in the definition, development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of Agile practices (with an emphasis on Scrum) within the organization. You will facilitate sprint planning, retrospective, and daily activities related to stand-ups and sprint burn down as well as maintain relevant metrics that help the team see and understand their progress during a sprint. In this role you will own and resolve identified impediments. As Scrum Master youre responsible for leading the continual Agile transformation and practices as well as promoting accountability and transparency across all levels of the organization.


  • Work directly with scrum team to support small, less-complex initiatives and support more senior level scrum masters for high complexity initiatives.
  • Practices the core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, accountability, and practices continuous improvement.
  • Facilitates sprint demos, planning, and retrospectives.
  • Tracks and communicates team velocity and sprint/release progress.
  • Provide status reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs), schedule, resources, and milestone delivery.

Job Specific Information: The Scrum Master acts as a facilitator, ensuring that the Scrum framework is effectively applied. They coach team members on Agile practices and guide them toward successful project delivery. They manage project timelines, coordinate PI Planning and sprints, and facilitate daily stand-up meetings. Their goal is to keep the development process efficient and transparent. When conflicts arise, the Scrum Master steps in to resolve them. They promote collaboration and help the team overcome obstacles. Working closely with product owners, they handle backlog items, prioritize tasks, and ensure alignment with project goals.
At the end of each sprint, the Scrum Master ensures that deliverables meet quality standards. They guide the team toward continuous improvement. Scrum Masters serve the team by removing impediments, fostering a positive work environment, and promoting self-organization.

Skills/Knowledge/Experience Considered a Plus:


  • ScrumMaster Certification considered a plus.
  • Previous experience supporting 1 Scrum team considered a plus

Domicile/Relocation: Collierville, TN.

Remote Verbiage: The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or business administration and/or equivalent formal training or work experience.

Salary Range Estimate: Monthly Salary: $4,680.00 – $6,001.00. This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, your work location, how many years of experience you have, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
