As part of the Labor team, you will assist with daily operational needs to schedule Cast Members according to multiple collective bargaining agreements, Visa restrictions, labor laws and scheduling rules. You will engage with leaders in multiple levels.

As a Scheduling Specialist, you will report to the Labor Manager.

This is a Full-Time Hourly role.

What You Will Do:

  • Use results of analysis to lay out appropriate actions and recommendations for decision-making/course correction

  • Research labor issues and identify the cause through partnership with Operations, internal Workforce Management teams, and other teams

  • Explain approach and methodology and present to leadership to help inspire change

  • Conduct audits of process and implementation for accuracy, consistency and quality

  • Collaborate on analytics approach and practices with leaders and team members and sharing expertise

  • Conduct scheduler training, lead all aspects of schedule bids and serve as scheduler coverage

  • Lead global/park wide labor projects

You Will Have:

  • Outstanding Guest service skills

  • Organizational skills with excellent attention to detail

  • Talent to learn new software applications

  • Capacity to be flexible with work schedule including weekends and holidays

  • Expertise to handle confidential information

  • Proficiency with excel (can perform complex functions), Word, PowerPoint and Outlook, including preparing presentations in an understandable narrative

  • Talent to monitor the daily work flow and direct responsibilities

  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills including the ability to shift as priorities change

  • Talent to build relationships through consulting and partnering

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with databases and ability to build/analyze reports

  • Operational experience

  • Experience in labor systems (i.e. GEMS, CDS, and My Time)

  • Understanding of the Union Collective Bargaining Agreements

  • Talent to provide constructive role related coaching

Education:

  • High School degree or equivalent

Preferred Education:

  • Bachelors degree
