Resourcing Specialist

Salary Range: $75,000 – $85,000 per annum
Location: Houston or Monroe (Texas)

As the Resourcing Specialist, you will report to and work closely with Resourcing Business Partner and will be accountable for proactively sourcing, screening and presenting long lists of candidates to the Resourcing Business Partner.

You’ll advise on the best route to market to attract relevant candidates to our vacancies, and ensure every candidate engaged with has a positive experience and becomes a brand advocate regardless of outcome.

This role supports our head office corporate and engineering functions, It is a hybrid role which will see you attending a Drax office at least two days a week.

About the Role

  • To take ownership for bringing to life the candidate journey as designed by the talent attraction team, for both internal and external candidates’, ensuring a great candidate experience
  • Championing best practice and keeping up to date with relevant industry innovation
  • Supporting the Resourcing Business Partners in taking roles briefings to understand current and future requirements of the business areas you support
  • Researching and understanding relevant candidate and talent markets sharing feedback back into the business
  • Direct sourcing of candidates using a variety of tools and techniques
  • Working collaboratively with the recruitment marketing team to design attraction campaigns
  • Writing and posting of job adverts
  • Ensuring the ATS is kept up to date and used consistently, with candidates moving through the process to enable monthly reporting
  • Screening candidates to assess suitability against the requirements of the role
  • Timely candidate interaction to improve their experience, authentically sharing our culture and values
  • Booking all interviews and administering any relevant testing
  • Delivering candidate feedback both positive and negative in an engaging way so that all candidates leave with a positive experience of Drax
  • Offer management and offer administration for example completion of the Contract Request Form
  • Manage the on-boarding journey from verbal offer to day 1 in post, ensuring a great new starter experience
  • Coordinating and attending relevant careers fairs to support candidate attraction
  • To work with recruitment agency partners where applicable for assistance in securing the best talent
