As a Research Student, you will work closely with research personnel and actively participate in a structured learning experience in a laboratory or clinical research setting. You’ll quickly gain hands-on experience in laboratory techniques, clinical settings, data collection and analysis and other related skills to explore careers in biomedical and clinical research.
The ideal future caregiver is someone who:
- Has been accepted or is enrolled in an accredited college or university as an undergraduate student.
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic.
- Is eager to learn and receive feedback.
- Has decisive judgement and excellent critical thinking skills.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone to gain experience in science and research while being mentored by the PI.

Responsibilities:
- Under direct supervision, student may conduct research in the laboratories and/or clinical setting
- Under direct supervision, student may perform data collection and analysis.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be accepted/enrolled in an accredited college or university as an undergraduate student.
- This position is NOT applicable to anyone who has completed all requirements for an undergraduate degree/diploma.
- This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Work Experience:
- None required.
- Students with previous research laboratory experience are often preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Normal physical requirements include good near visual acuity and color acuity.
Personal Protective Equipment:
- Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
