Position Summary Work with the CCHI staff and DEM faculty on our ongoing efforts to use NC DETECT data for surveillance and research of mental and behavioral health conditions in NC. Activities will include:
  • Participate in monthly meetings of the Mental/Behavioral Health Workgroup with representatives of UNC, NC Division of Mental Health, and NC Division of Public Health.
  • Assist with ongoing analysis, evaluation, and improvement of surveillance case definitions for mental/behavioral health related health encounters in NC DETECT.
  • Participate the preparation of manuscripts for publication.
  • Contribute to CCHI dissemination efforts of work related to mental/behavioral health surveillance.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to the area of assignment or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
