Research Coordinator

DonorConnect is seeking a part-time Research Coordinator to support and assist with research projects throughout all of the project stages. The Research Coordinator (RC) will be responsible for supporting and assisting with various research projects throughout each project stage. The RC will help support application and go-live processes for new research projects as well as source new research projects and/or researchers. Additionally, the RC will ensure ongoing project maintenance and will manage documentation and training schedules for new and current research projects.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.

Training/Education/Certification:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associates degree preferred, and/or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience

Experience Required:

  • One year of research-related work preferred
  • Experience with supporting researchers and research projects preferred
  • Experience providing support to multiple departments preferred

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Knowledge of the organ and tissue transplant fields preferred
  • Knowledge of computer hardware and software
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Able to work independently
  • Strong Emotional Intelligence
  • Solid oral and written communication skills
  • Attentive to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Able to work well with all levels of personnel in healthcare settings
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to move up to 10 pounds at times with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to reason logically and make sound decisions, to consider alternative and diverse perspectives, to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
