THE POSITION
Are you interested in collaborating with local and government officials to plan, develop, and execute local recreation sites, parks, and conservation projects? In this role, you will have the opportunity to share your expertise and contribute to the promotion of safe recreation for the public through parks and conservation programs. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
You will serve within the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Bureau of Recreation and Conservation, Community Parks and Conservation Division, Community Parks and Recreation section. You will act as the project manager for a variety of natural resource, recreation, and conservation planning and development grant projects within an assigned geographical region of the Commonwealth. This includes coordination, review, approval, and management of assigned projects. Additionally, you will provide technical assistance, outreach and education to support the bureaus mission.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday – Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 5 days per pay period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:- One year as a Recreation and Conservation Advisor 1 (commonwealth title) or
- Two years of professional experience in parks, recreation, or natural resource conservation administration, planning, or development and a bachelor’s degree in parks and recreation, landscape architecture, environmental sciences, city, regional, urban, or environmental planning, or a closely related field or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
