The role of the Operations Assistant/Receptionist is critical to the success of Citizens Community Bank. The daily functions that must be performed require a reliable individual who can be counted on to support the rest of the operations team. The job requires an open mind to deal with a variety of issues in an ever-changing environment.

This position needs a quick learner with a pleasant demeanor who will serve both internal and external customers with extraordinary customer service. They must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Answer incoming phone calls in a professional, pleasant, and cordial manner. Directing calls to the appropriate departments and ensuring optimum customer service through voice inflections and proper transfers
  • Provide superior internal and external customer service, resolving problems while being courteous and respectful
  • Cross-train in various operational functions such as wire transfers, accounts payable, E-Banking products (online banking, mobile banking, bill pay, remote deposits, e-statements, debit cards, etc.), and other tasks as needed
  • Scan and verify documentation into digital storage mediums
  • Review various daily reports
  • Willingness to take on various special projects as needed
  • Participate in Community Service and Bank-sponsored activities that serve and support the mission and values of CCB.
  • Complete required bank and OnCourse training courses within assigned time frame(s).
  • Regular and predictable attendance in order to accomplish assigned job duties


About You


QUALIFICATIONS:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Prior customer service experience is required
  • Basic banking knowledge preferred
  • Excellent organization skills to perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Good understanding of technology-related products such as internet banking, mobile banking, bill pay, remote deposits, and debit cards
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Basic computer skills with working knowledge of word processing, ten-key, and general computer applications
  • Basic knowledge of general office practices

WORK ENVIRONMEN
T : Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with moderate noise level.

Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures transcribing viewing a computer terminal extensive reading visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes.
