About the role:

WEG Electric Corp. has a great opportunity for a Receiving Coordinator to join our Duluth, GA team. This role makes transactions and troubleshoots issues related to company wide receiving. The job will include
receiving all material into SAP and ensuring all transactions are correct and complete. The role will audit and approve outbound freight bills to ensure completeness, be in direct contact with the warehouses to resolve receiving issues and have constant communication with our carrier fleet to ensure best practices.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Process transactions for receipt of all material for the entire company using MIGO (Third party PO’s).
  • Process transactions for receipt of all containers using ZTMM173 (Intercompany PO’s).
  • Process transactions for transfers from other WEG facilities.
  • Audits and approves outbound freight bills
  • Complete all system transactions to ensure inventory correctness.
  • Direct communication with all warehouse to rectify receiving issues.
  • Research open purchase orders to ensure completeness.
  • Answer emails pertaining to receiving from other departments in the company.
  • Perform extensive research on a wide range of inventory-related reports.
  • Direct contact with trucking companies to gather data and negotiate best routes.
  • Compile data to display end of month results using Excel and Power BI.
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned.

Education:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).


Knowledge / training:

  • Strong knowledge of Excel and Microsoft office.
  • Knowledge of order picking, receiving product, understanding how to piece orders together, and outbound product loading/unloading.
  • Knowledge of how product on racking and bulk storage and cycle counting.
  • Strong knowledge of Power BI reporting
  • Experience with multiple operating systems including SAP.
  • Excellent communication skills written and verbal.
  • 1-2 years of related experience.
