Job Description : Department CON-Continuing InterProfDevelopment 50001255 Business Unit College of Nursing Reg-Temp Full-Time Regular Work Schedule Monday – Friday, work hours mutually agreed upon Remote/Telecommuting Hybrid (part-time working on site, part-time working off-site) Position Summary Work directly with the core grant team, faculty, staff and regional partners to support the management of the Midwest Clinical Instructor Regional Network (MCIRN) and the coordination of its events. The coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the administrative and event related functions of the MCIRN run according to the project’s goals and timelines.   • Self-starter who works independently and will take the initiative to interact with faculty and e-learning developers.
  • Strong team player skills and the ability to work harmoniously with a diverse population of faculty, students, and staff.


Preferred Education: Masters degree

Preferred Experience:
  • Experience in developing adult education programs and/or event planning related to continuing education.
  • Knowledge of continuing education accrediting issues for health professionals.
  • Experience working in an academic setting.
  • Basic budgetary knowledge.
  • Certified Healthcare CPD Professional certification

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills required. Must have the ability to tactfully assist and/or work with internal and external partners.
  • Ability to develop and monitor widely varying detailed budgets for educational activities.
  • Ability to appropriately apply policies and procedures.
