This position will be based in the Multilingual Department and will work with a team of individuals passionate about working with multilingual learners across all schools. A Multilingual Department Program Specialist I will support the data and analysis needs of all programs within the department such as the Title IC Migrant, Title III English Learners, Dual Language, Newcomer, American Indian/Alaska Native, World Language, and Translation and Interpretation. Specific responsibilities may include audit tracking and submission, enrollment and staffing analysis, data entry, cleaning up enrollment collections and submitting to the Oregon Department of Education, managing eligibility testing and monitoring of students, fielding questions from teachers and families, analysis of ELPA scores, data reports for individual schools and the district, extracting data and manipulating data into different formats, and a variety of data related tasks that require proficiency in different softwares and programs. More responsibilities are outlined in the job description. The Program Specialist I will work collaboratively with all staff within the department.
