Responsibilities:

  • This position requires strong attention to detail, organizational and communication skills to complete a project from start to finish while maintaining SCHEELS brand standards.
  • This professional will collaborate with other associates to execute requested photography projects across SCHEELS Marketing, E-commerce, and internal platforms.
  • Ability to work independently to execute photo sessions utilizing professional cameras, lighting, and styling equipment proficiently.
  • Utilize photography software and technology to review, edit and prepare all images for archiving.
  • Archive approved images per Marketing and E-commerce guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Creative Project Managers to ensure final images adhere to creative direction and quality standards.
  • Proactively follow up with Creative Project Managers to regularly recap projects and elevate work.
  • Complete regular inventory and maintenance on cameras and lighting, ensure proper handling and storage of equipment and props, and maintain an organized studio.
  • The ability to conceptualize, present, and execute creative ideas supporting the featured products.
  • Demonstrate ability to think critically and communicate creative concepts.
  • Assist with Creative Media Campaign Projects as assigned.

Education &amp Experience:

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience in photography
  • Preferred product photography experience, including layflats and body forms
  • Proficiency in studio lighting, professional camera equipment, Adobe Photoshop, Capture One, and color management tools.
  • Current portfolio demonstrating depth and breadth of product photography experience.

Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements:

Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.

Heavy work – Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
