What you’ll do at Elekta:
Elekta is looking for a results-oriented People Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team! As a member of the People Operations team, you will be responsible for assisting with the administration of all benefits and retirement programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, and 401(k) plan. In addition, you will provide onboarding support to new employees and their managers as well as provide HRIS support. To be successful in this position, you must have extensive knowledge of U.S. Benefit offerings, be self-motivated, proactive and someone who strives to maintain high standards in their daily work. You will also support benefit administration in Mexico. Primary Responsibilities Responsibilities:
  • General People Operations Administration support
  • Act as first line response for all employee queries ensuring accurate and timely responses to the business
  • Partner with the Benefits Administrator on all benefit related items
  • Provide advice and guidance on Elekta’s HR policies and procedures to employees and line managers
  • Update and amend HR policies regularly
  • Create, manage, and review HR employee templates which includes, but are not limited to employee changes letters, employee contracts, settlement agreements, parental etc.
  • Consistently ensure that Employee files and the employee portal is reviewed and updated
  • Act as a superuser of Workday (HRIS) – data changes during the employee lifecycle, on-and offboarding related tasks etc
  • HR introduction to colleagues, employees, and line managers
  • Manage payroll controls, including communication
  • Absence related tasks
  • Responsible for the Local Comp &amp Benefits Administration (Benefit systems or tools)
  • Provide admin support for HR related QA audits
Authorities:
  • Act and deliver transactional services on behalf of Global People Operations
  • Act according to Elekta’s Code of Conduct, Values, Policies, and ethical standards
Qualifications:
  • University degree in Human Resources, Business administration, Economics or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably from a generalist role gained in a dynamic, matrix and change oriented global organization with process complexity
  • Good knowledge of Employee Benefits, HR related administration, processes, and procedures
  • Ability to manage a busy workload, work flexibly adapting to changing priorities and meet expectations on delivery
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) in English (Bilingual in a plus in Spanish/French)
  • Experience running reports and knowledge in Microsoft Office package, specifically Excel and Word
  • Confidentiality and the ability to deal with sensitive information discreetly is essential
  • Proactive and service-minded approach
  • Experience working in Sharepoint is a plus

The US base salary range for this position is $70,459 -$105,689 [NOTE: It is understood that no single candidate will have equal expertise in all the areas of responsibility below.
