Job Summary The Patient Access Representative plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient and accurate patient registration and admission processes within the hospitals clinic setting. They are responsible for greeting patients and confirming and/or updating information and demographics, verifying insurance coverage, and creating a positive and welcoming experience for patients. This position requires excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as a strong attention to detail. Pay Range Minimum $20.53 Midpoint $27.19 Maximum $33.86 Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.   • Required: Three (3) years’ experience in healthcare registration, admissions, scheduling, or related customer service roles is required.
  • Preferred: Five (5) years’ experience in healthcare registration, admissions, scheduling, or related customer service roles is required.
Education
  • Required: High School Diploma. High school diploma or equivalent additional education in healthcare administration or related field is a plus.
  • Preferred: Associate Degree or higher

Specialized Skills
  • Required: Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate and efficiently use electronic health record (EHR) systems and other software applications. Excellent communication skills.
