Operations Supervisor
Job Description:
Effective leader of an operational team who provides expert operational leadership including decision making, project management, technical acumen, strategic planning, problem solving, and collaboration with other teams. Participates in and ensures team alignment in the successful implementation of strategic initiatives and meeting of KPIs. Serves as a committee member, is a proven change leader, and a champion of continuous improvement, and the implementation of best practices.1. Mentors and assists in the development of new leaders. Experienced in hiring, onboarding, creating high-performing engaged teams, talent development (e.g. training, mentoring, knowledge, skills, tools) and performance management. Participates in the development and execution of strategic staffing plans and initiatives.
2. Identifies and implements new processes that reduce operational expense, create efficiency, and improve experience. Manages operational performance guarantees and agreements, employee metrics, department and company KPIs, and the obtainment of goals .
3. Identifies and implements system requirements. Coordinates resources for operational system testing and troubleshooting, documentation, training, product implementation and enhancements.
4. A representative for senior leaders and a key contact for escalated, complex issue resolution.
5. In-depth understanding of rules, regulations, and policies, and collaboration with internal and external parties to ensure compliance.
Minimum Qulaifications
Demonstrated leadership success in Operations Supervisor role.
Demonstrated expert level operational knowledge and technical expertise.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and summarize data, develop a business case, and effectively present a proposal for change.
Demonstrated knowledge of process improvement principles and demonstrates effective project management skills.
Demonstrated strong organizational skills, attention to detail, effective interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated effectiveness in leading individual contributors and leading leaders.
Demonstrated proactive approach and the ability to see the job that needs to be done and take action.
Preferred Qualifications
Three years leadership experience in a previous operational role.
Bachelors degree in a business or health related course of study obtained through an accredited institution. Education is verified.
