About this Role:
The role of the Office Technician (Typing) (OT-T) is to provide office support. The OT-T in the Audits & Investigations (A&I), Financial Review Outpatient and Behavioral Health Division, is the lead support person responsible for coordination of office activities that range from average to difficult in nature .
Financial Review Outpatient and Behavioral Health Division (FROBHD) conducts financial and compliance reviews and audits of Medi-Cal and other DHCS programs’ outpatient and behavioral health providers, including Federally Qualified Health Centers, Rural Health Clinics, Local Educational Agency, Targeted Case Management, Ground Emergency Medical Transportation, Specialty Mental Health, Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment Block Grant, and Drug Medi-Cal Organized Delivery System. These reviews and audits verify payments to providers and their reported costs are valid, accurate and in compliance with governing laws, regulations, and program intent. Audited data is also provided to assist with provider rate setting purposes.

Telework Information
This position may be eligible for telework up to three days per week and is required to report in-person and site-based a minimum of two days per week. The amount of telework is at the discretion of the Department and is subject to change consistent with DHCS’ Telework Program and Government Code sections 14200 – 14203. Telework is available to California residents, and proof of residency may be required. Business travel may be required, and reimbursement considers an employee’s designated office and residence subject to regulations and bargaining unit contract provisions.
