Job Summary/Objective
Works onsite at an OEC client to support the National Accounts, Motorcraft and Omnicraft parts cataloging process. Catalogs, edits, and audits Motorcraft parts, and supports customers who receive the data. Ensures deliverables meet the Automotive Aftermarket Industry standards of cataloging.

Key Responsibilities &amp Duties (essential to the job)
1. Catalogs all new Motorcraft parts via the Materials Management Process (MMP) and in the electronic and global catalogs (ECAT and GCAT). Corrects discrepancies within the catalogs when required.
2. Maintains and updates catalog vehicle application information.
3. Reviews/audits catalog data from present and past, to ensure the proper vehicle usage is correct.
4. Answers and tracks Motorcraft catalog inquiries, and makes changes to the catalog when warranted.
5. Provides assistance to parts suppliers, customers, engineering, sales, and marketing as required.
6. Interacts with the various Motorcraft field personnel, Warehouse Distributors, National Accounts, and the Data Distribution Support Team, to identify problems and recommend solutions.
7. Prepares ad-hoc reports and provides project support for Marketing.
8. Supports eCommerce team with Motorcraft data on FordParts.com.
9. Completes assessments from field to ensure data is consistent.
10. Works closely with the Product Information Exchange Standard (PIES) Team to correlate data and part terminology.

Education
A High School diploma is required (or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate).

Experience, Skills and Key Competencies
No experience is required, however, must be able to demonstrate the following skills and abilities:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • General knowledge of (or the ability to quickly learn) automotive systems, the Aftermarket Catalog Exchange Standard (ACES), the Product Information Exchange Standard (PIES), and the Auto Care Associate Aftermarket Standard.
  • Ability to apply principles of analytical thinking to collect and compare data, identify issues, consider options, recommend solutions, and solve problems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish collaborative working relations with internal teams and external customers.
  • Strong computer skills and can effectively use Microsoft Office Products including Excel.
  • Able to work independently and in a self-managed manner.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, and can effectively prioritize work to meet assigned deadlines, while maintaining high-quality results.
