Job Description
BAE Systems in Elgin, OK is hiring a Material Handler to perform warehouse functions with regard to receiving inbound materials, cycle counting, parts picking, production floor deliveries, packaging, shipping, computer entry of invoices/transfers, and direct influence of the flow of material in and out of the facility.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Safely complete each tasks each day
- Manage part storage areas, performing all inventory related transactions, and optimizing use of space
- Perform all documentation, transactions, packaging and material handling functions with regard to Shipping outbound materials (Return to Suppliers, shipment to other BAE sites, etc)
- Other Duties as required
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- HS Diploma / Equivalent
- Min 3 year of experiences in a material handling/warehouse function
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds frequently
- Ability to work in a physically demanding job with minimal down time
- Ability to multi-task, and perform under pressure, maintaining attention to detail and system data integrity
- Weekend/overtime availability a must
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Inventory management experience (Both hands-on material handling and system transactions and interfaces)
- Previous experience using forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Experience working in a shop environment
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $34389 – $58406
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
