About you and this role: The Logistics Service’s mission is to provide superior value through unyielding focus on safety, customer service and efficient utilization of resources to all businesses within Michigan Operations in Midland MI. The position will provide support for Dows manufacturing operations through the packaging and distribution of Dow products. Candidates will rotate through a variety of packaging and warehousing responsibilities including the following: Responsibilities
- Packaging products for our global customers
- Focal point for material movement
- Interacting with chemical processes
- Preparing raw materials for operations
- Manually breaking-down pallets of material and products
- Arranging, stacking, and repackaging all types of materials and products
- Affixing labels, stickers or booklets on packaged materials
- Safe operation of a fork lift or other heavy equipment
- Base pay is $18.39, with potential progression opportunities from $21.22-$29.04/per hour in addition to a yearly bonus based on personal and company performance.
- Eligible for an additional $0.60 per hour if assigned to a role that covers 24/7 rotating shifts

- Willing and able to work all applicable shifts on a rotating basis (including weekends) and work overtime when needed
- Successfully complete a background check and pass a drug screen if job offer is received and accepted
- Must have a current, valid US driver’s license
- Must be 18 years old or older
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
- The ability to work a full shift, come to work on time, work overtime and holidays as needed and the ability to work according to the necessary schedule to meet job requirements with or without reasonable accommodation is an essential function of this position.
- A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
- Wear all required personal protective equipment provided by the company, including but not limited to a respirator.
- Perform frequent bending, reaching, and lifting, working in tight or closed-in spaces, climb stairs/ladders and working at heights as well as standing or walking for extended periods of time Essential functions of this position may require, among other things, that the employee use particular types of equipment
- – such as on-site safety equipment that has specific weight limitations whereby the individual’s own weight, plus the weight of tools and other items and materials, must not exceed a certain threshold. - 2 or more years of Manufacturing or relevant experience
- Military experience
- Able to demonstrate basic computer skills example: Word, Excel, SAP, Outlook
- The Logistics Fast Start certificate obtained from Delta College
- Fork truck experience preferred
- Experience doing safe work permits and/or isolation of energy
- Willing/able to do positive coverage for shift work, which is working a set period on days and a set period on nights rotating back and forth between the midnight and day shifts
