Linehaul Dispatcher, $70.000 yearly

Full-Time, Monday – Friday, Various Shifts

Earn 1 week of vacation after 90 days of employment

R+L Carriers has immediate need for Linehaul Dispatcher at our Ellenwood, GA Service Center to plan, direct and coordinate the movement of regional and national LTL shipments.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Developing geographical specific plans to insure service standards are achieved in the most economical means possible.
  • Direct the use of Purchased Transportation and Intermodal
  • Coordinate LCV lanes in geographical areas.
    • Reduce partial and empty dispatches by managing freight flow and resources.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Experience and education a plus!
  • Effective verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • Experience using PC, Database and Mainframe applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
