Telework Information: This position is eligible for an office-centered hybrid telework schedule with up to two days of telework and three days or more onsite, per week.

We’re looking for a Staff Services Analyst/ Associate Governmental Program Analyst who can contribute to the high impact and high visibility work we do to develop the leaders of today and tomorrow.

The Leadership Development team oversees a wide portfolio of offerings, including: appointment training, standalone trainings, the emerging leader program, and individualized training and development solutions. The new team member will help manage our current offerings and will also have the opportunity to recommend new ideas and see them through to implementation. This person will interact with leaders at all levels, from front-line to executive. They’ll work at a level that requires them to see the big picture and the entire system, but also execute details at the lowest level. They’ll get to know the needs of the organization and industry best practices and make recommendations to ensure leader developments offerings are bringing value to the organization.

Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I, the Staff Services Analyst’s/Associate Governmental Program Analyst’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Design, implement, coordinate, and facilitate of in-person/virtual leadership development programs and offerings.
  • Assist in identifying and working directly with vendors in delivering learning and development services and prepares/processes funding documents and related contracts.
  • Consult with and provide customer service to CalPERS leaders at all levels regarding training and development requirements, programs, and offerings.
  • Utilize Learning Management System (GoLearn) to manage and track leadership programs offerings by generating reports, rosters, and completion certificates, as well as monitor the Leadership Competency Assessment tool.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $3,640.00 – $5,916.00 per month
