Position: IT PMO Project Mgr III

Your Role

Expert in project management paired with experience in business analysis, resource management, and organization change management. Independently capable of managing all aspects of a complex to highly complex information technology project/program (or multiple medium-scale IT projects) including project planning, execution, timing, functionality, quality, communication and cost. Executes projects from original concept through final implementation and ensures projects are aligned with VS&ampCo. standards and strategies. Establishes and communicates project goals and directs team activity. Sets direction and applies knowledge of multiple project management methodologies, tools and templates. Creates and maintains the necessary work products and communications, without guidance. Must be able to work, lead, and deliver globally.


This role is expected to coach, share, and teach lower banded PMO roles, having a perspective on mastery of their craft. Runs as an independent expert across the PMO, regularly leading learning sessions and driving capability uplift. Supports new employee on-boarding planning, coordination, and execution. May have direct reports with associated expectations and responsibilities.

Your Impact

  • Recognized as advanced in understanding and knowledge of project management
  • Independently executes high complexity projects or executes very high complexity efforts with coaching from more tenured PMO staff
  • Analyzes complex business / user needs and recommends appropriate solutions
  • Consults with senior leadership and assigned teams to ensure project alignment with the business unit’s strategy and objectives
  • Supports the portfolio management decision process through the creation of project charters, risk assessments, budgets and business value articulation
  • Leads project teams in the development and implementation of detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates and resource plans
  • Defines, leads and executes successful integration and dependency management capability across the various requests, projects and programs
  • Leads the interfaces between IT projects, services and business unit leadership to ensure collaboration and coordination between the project development staff, management, infrastructure areas, business partners, and if necessary, vendors and outside consultants
  • Monitors / assesses project progress and drives communications prepares status reports, management reporting and presentations for executives
  • Ensures and manages the communication to and incorporation of feedback from business partners on proposed, developing and completed projects
  • Gathers and analyzes data to identify trends that support visibility to potential issues and inconsistencies anticipates and identifies issues inhibiting successful project delivery
  • Facilitates resolution, mitigation and appropriate escalation of action items, scope changes, risks and issues to senior management
  • Defines, leads ad executes successful vendor management capability across the various projects and programs
  • Able to lead business process analysis/design, organizational analysis, stakeholder needs assessments, and cost/benefit analysis in an effort to align information technology solutions with business strategies and directions
  • Is a recognized global leader across the PMO, Technology, and the Business
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
Minimum Salary: $121,000.00
Maximum Salary: $165,060.00

VS&ampCo provides a range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual salary will be determined by a number of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic region, or other relevant factors.
