Inventory Analyst

  • No relocation assistance available

The Inventory Analyst role is responsible for the analyzing, reporting, and actioning processes regarding regional inventory status and financial accuracy of that inventory. Role will also be asked to report and manage inventory health and nonperforming inventory to MARS standard to show risks in balance that can impact warehouse utilization and financials. This individual will work closely with finance, inventory planning, Business Units (BUs), and project teams to report and push for continuous actions and ownership of processes.

What are we looking for?

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3+ years of supply chain or reconciliation experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Level

  • Proficient in MS office

  • Strong Analytical, Collaboration, and Presentation skills

  • Excellent time management skills driven by a proactive work ethic

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Microsoft 1Navision ERP System and Power BI

  • Understanding of supply chain and inventory management

  • High learning agility and technical confidence to utilize multiple data systems

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Ensure inventory accuracy and reporting by completing and tracking weekly and periodic inventory reconciliation for HUB, 3rd Party Repack, and ASC network.

    • Complete weekly inventory reconciliation in ERP system

    • Work with ASC/HUB/3rd Party Repack planners on pre-work and outliers

    • Align and work with system experts on inventory data flows. Including but not limited to: OMS, 1Nav, and WMS

    • Coordinate with Finance on alignments for reconciliation completion and posting

    • Track outliers and action with appropriate party for resolution and Root Cause Analysis

    • Create and Maintain reporting of reconciliation and track to target

    • Create Action plan when needed based on Target vs Actuals

    • Create and maintain Periodic personnel coverage and backup, aligning with finance

  • Analyze and Report on Inventory Health and Obsolete Risk and align cross functionally to maintain targets

    • Review regional inventory and align to MARS inventory health standard

    • Work with inventory and supply planning teams on actions plans if needed when health is out of target

    • Maintain non-performing (obsolete risk) reporting and work with BU and finance on actions for items with risk to maintain targets

  • Drive continuous improvement in reconciliation and finished goods write-off reduction strategies and reporting across the regional business.

  • Ad hoc project support and Subject Matter Roles as needed
