The HR Generalist will effectively handle the daily functions of the Human Resources department including recruiting, hiring, and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave and enforcing company policies and practices. Confidentiality is a must. Some travel may be required with some instances of overnight stays.


Core Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment process by sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating the hiring process to attract top talent.
  • Performs tasks required to administer and execute HR programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, disciplinary matters, performance and talent management, and training and development.
  • Handles inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors on related subject matter.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Conducts and maintains new hire orientation programs and employee recognition programs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1-year of human resource experience or certification or combination of equivalent education, training, and certification.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent organization skills with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism required.
  • Strong computer skills with ability to quickly learn HRIS systems proficient use of Microsoft Office products and other software as required.
