Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco overlooks Yerba Buena Gardens and is located just steps away from the Citys Financial District, Union Square shopping, the Moscone Convention Center, the Museum of Modern Art, and the Contemporary Jewish Museum, amid the citys finest cultural and dining venues.

We are actively searching for an experienced and energetic individual to become Hotel Manager of Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco!

The Role – Overview
This vital leadership position will support the General Manager with the direction of operational aspects of the hotel, including food &amp beverage, rooms, engineering, security, training, and legal matters related to the hotel.

Essential Functions
This list is not all –inclusive and should only be used as an overview of all actual responsibility.


o Coordinate and manager the daily operation of the Hotel.
o Assume authority of General Manager in his or her absence.
o Maintain a solid working relationship with the asset manager and hotel owners, and actively participate in Owner’s Meetings.
o Oversee preventative maintenance programs such as “Perfect Room” initiative.
o In partnership with division and department heads, actively control operational labor and expenditure budgets.
o Actively strategize with hotel Planning Committee to successfully steer hotel operations, as well as guest satisfaction and employee engagement program, by reviewing individual reports and focus areas.
o Conduct engaging meetings to include, but not limited to: daily operations, regular Board of Operation, quarterly all employee, etc.
o Mentor and develop F&ampB and Rooms division heads, as well as department heads throughout the hotel.
o Accept responsibly for the health, safety and welfare of the hotel guests and employees.
o Be accountable for all personnel actions, assets, and personal property and the end results of their use.
o Actively represent the Hotel to civic, business, industry and local government.
o Actively solicit ideas and execute successful employee relations programs.
o Actively participate and co-chair various programs and committees, such as: Employee Experience Committee Hotel Safety Committee, Employee Wellness, etc.
o Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications &amp Experience
o Viable candidates must have a minimum of five years in hotel operations and/or management experience.
o Candidates with a degree in hospitality, or similar, are preferred .
o Ability to quickly and positively establish rapport is required .
o Above average communication skills – both written and oral – are required .
o Prior experience managing staff and programs in a unionized setting is preferred, but not required.
