Join our Team at the Grand Opening of the New Adobe Clubhouse at the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club!
We are gearing up for our grand opening (with training starting the second week of April and an estimated opening date in early May) and looking for enthusiastic and service-oriented individuals to join our team. Located in Central Phoenix, the Adobe Clubhouse at the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club will offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a welcoming golf club atmosphere. We want our members and guests to receive an unforgettable dining experience. In addition to our Restaurant and Market, we will be hosting a variety of banquets and events in creating memorable experiences.
Job Summary
Under general supervision, the Greeter is the first point of contact for guests entering the Adobe Clubhouse food and beverage outlet operations. The purpose is to provide a warm welcome and ensure exceptional service starts from the moment the guest arrives until the guest leaves. It includes managing reservations, coordinating seating arrangements, and assisting in maintaining the flow of the restaurant to ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for guests.

Duties and Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities listed below are essential to the employee’s position.
Operational
- Welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanor upon arrival, providing a positive first impression and setting the tone for the dining experience.
- Take reservations over the phone, via email or in person and record guest information and seating preferences.
- Ensure tables are assigned efficiently and fairly to minimize wait times. Must take into account reservation status, table availability and guest preferences.
- Provide guests with information about the menu, special requests or accommodations they may have.
- As needed, provides directions to facilities like restrooms and answer general questions about the restaurant, events and activities taking place.
- Maintains waiting list.
- Monitors the greeting station and lobby area, including wiping down surfaces, organizing menus, cleaning and ensuring that the area is tidy and welcoming at all times.
- Address any guest concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner, seeking management assistance, as necessary, to ensure guest satisfaction.
- May assist with serving food and/or beverages for large parties or during peak periods.
Other:
- Participates in pre-shift meetings, taste tests, and training.
- Conform with all safety standards and use of all appropriate safety equipment.
- Follow good personal hygiene guidelines.
- May be assigned side duties.
- Performs other duties, as assigned.
Education and Experience Required
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Previous experience as a greeter in a similar guest-facing role is preferred.
Skills and Abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.
- Outstanding coordination and multi-tasking abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration: Ability to collaborate servers, bartenders, bussers, and other restaurant staff.
- Strong communication skills including effective listening.
- Flexible and adaptable to changes in workflow, menu items, staff, etc.
- Ability to remain calm during peak hours or challenging guests or members.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of food handling regulations.
Computer Skills
Required:
- Ability to use Point of Sale (POS) System
- Ability to use employee self-service on company’s human resources/payroll database
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Required: Position may utilize golf carts thus, must have a valid driver’s license.
Unexpired Arizona food and liquor certifications. Must meet age requirements to handle and serve alcoholic beverages. Note: If individual is under 19 years old, individual does not need liquor certification and will not serve alcohol.
Other
Regular attendance is required. Additional hours including weekends may be required on a regular basis to fulfill duties of position. At times, an individual must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple, competing tasks and demands and to seek supervisory assistance as appropriate.

Auditory abilities required by this job include the ability to accurately hear information conveyed to guests and members and the ability to work effectively in areas with ambient noise. The work environment is subject to interruptions, varying and unpredictable situations and time pressures related to multiple tasks. It also requires regular use of a point-of-sale terminal. There is extensive repetitive motion in using hands/wrists.
Work Environment
This position primarily works both indoors and outdoors. At times, extreme temperatures may be part of the environment.
Work requires exposure to temperatures sufficiently high to cause bodily discomfort. The noise level is usually moderate.
Schedules vary and may include weekends, holidays, etc. as determined by business needs.
OSHA Category
Category II: Position Personnel who engage in activities normally without exposure to blood or body fluids, but where exposure may occur in the event of an emergency.

Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour, DOE
