Graphic Designer

Hefty Seed Company is looking for a creative, detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our team. If you are interested in a fast-paced work environment with a successful and rapidly expanding organization, we are the company for you. Since 1969 we have grown our company from a small family business into one of the largest ag-chemical retailers in the nation. We have maintained that same small family business culture as we value our employees and believe family is first. This position is based out of our Baltic, SD office and is not remote.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Create various print and digital marketing materials including, presentations, magazines, email campaigns, social media, web, direct mailers, logos, and more. Incorporate new design elements as needed
• Create various materials for events including tradeshow displays, promotional items, signage, and more.
• Assist in creating page layouts for the company websites to ensure consistency and professional presentation.
• Follow brand guidelines and ensure all design outputs are aligned with the companys brand standards.
• Photograph various events, take staff headshots, marketing photoshoots, and retouch images as needed.
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience preferred
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud Software
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Superior organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
• Ability to respond in a professional and productive manner under pressure
• Ability to complete a high volume of tasks and work independently on projects
• Strong design sense of color, layout, and typography
• Maintain high accuracy in all communications and presentations, and proof all materials
• Maintain company identity, quality, and consistency in all graphic presentations
• Photography and editing experience preferred.
• Agriculture knowledge or background is a plus!
